If your board in Limerick has been asked to approve a trampoline, this page gives you what it will want to know: which models BERG approves for public use, BERG's rules, and how delivery and ordering work.
A board will usually ask three things. Has the insurer been consulted? Is the equipment right for the ages of the pupils? Who will inspect and maintain it? Settle those first. On ages, BERG's position is not under 3 and not recommended under 6. BERG recommends a safety net, and its home-use InGround manual does not recommend use without one by children under 14. On upkeep, BERG requires a safety check every day, recorded in a logbook.
We can give you a written quotation to put in front of the board, with the model, the price and delivery set out. With it we send BERG's public-use manual and its warning notice for your model, and the Keurmerkinstituut certificate where we hold it. We hold the certificate for the Elite InGround 330 Grey + Safety Net Deluxe, and request others from BERG.
For Limerick and the rest of Munster, ring our Cork line on 021 601 7112. Delivery to a school in the county is free and by pallet carrier: usually within 48 hours where the model is in stock, and typically 7 to 10 days where it is not.
What "approved for public use" means. BERG lists these grey Elite models as approved for public use, tested by the independent Dutch institute Keurmerkinstituut. The certificate we hold, for the Elite InGround 330 Grey + Safety Net Deluxe (no. 148394, inspected 24 January 2022), states that it meets the Dutch playground equipment decree, assessed against EN 1176-1:2017. See BERG's list of approved models.
The school or setting stays responsible for local rules, correct installation, warning notices, a daily check with a logbook, and maintenance. We send BERG's public-use manual and warning notice for your model with your quotation. Check with your insurer before you order.
All three are on BERG's public-use list. Models with a safety net come first, because BERG recommends one.

Our Cork line, 021 601 7112, takes calls from Limerick and the rest of Munster. It is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
Usually a written quotation and BERG's own statement on public use. We provide the quotation, and with it BERG's public-use manual, its warning notice for your model, and the Keurmerkinstituut certificate where we hold it. The risk assessment and the decision are the board's.
That is for the school and the professionals who know the pupils. NCSE's occupational therapists list a trampette among movement equipment ideas for sensory spaces, and stress adult supervision and that no single strategy suits every student. Take an occupational therapist's advice for individual pupils. BERG's rules still apply: one user, supervised.
We do not give times by area. Across Ireland, in-stock models are usually delivered within 48 hours and others typically within 7 to 10 days. Delivery is free.
Tell us the setting, the age of the children and the space you have. We reply with a model suggestion and a written quotation you can bring to your board or finance office.
